For beginners who want to learn how to use the wheel!

Service Description

Join Cathy & one of our volunteer members they take you though the fundamentals of wheel throwing. You will learn how to centre the clay, pulling a cylinder and shaping the piece. Followed by trimming, bisque firing and glazing of your pieces. Progression into shaping a tumbler and a bowl. Hopefully by the end you will have atleast 2 pieces to take home and enjoy. Please bring a small hand towel and and apron if you want to keep yourself relatively tidy. Leave jewellery around hands and wrists at home if possible and tie up long hair. Get ready to get messy!! This workshop is held on Tuesday & Thursdays 6pm-8pm for 3 weeks. Course dates as follows: 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26 February

Cancellation Policy

No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the workshop starting. No refunds for any no-shows to the class. We reserve the right to cancel a class with insufficient enrolment. A full refund will be issued in this case excluding any processing fees.
