Since 1982, we have been a volunteer-led, not-for-profit society dedicated to the craft of pottery in Queenstown. Our mission is to share the joy of clay with the community and encourage people of all levels to explore their creativity.

Based at Te Atamira, our members regularly showcase their work at local events like Luma, the Arrowtown Spring Flower Show and within the Te Altamira exhibition space. To fulfill our mission of making pottery accessible, we host regular classes and workshops open to the public.

While our studio is a dedicated space for members, please note that membership is currently at full capacity. We are not accepting new member applications until later in 2026. However, we invite you to experience the studio and learn the craft by joining one of our upcoming public workshops or community classes.
