Members - Beginners Wheel Techniques

Service Description

This is a members only session for those wanting to learn wheel throwing that have missed out on previous beginners workshop OR a refresher for those that haven't been on the wheel for awhile. Martha is teaching the basics of wheel throwing techniques - 4 classes only from 6-8.30 pm. This workshop is at a reduced cost to members at $100pp for the 4 sessions to cover wheel techniques of centering, throwing a few shapes, trimming and lots of hands-on practice. You will need to provide your own clay either standard stoneware, toast or white stoneware for beginners. This workshop does not cover any glazing so members will have to glaze and fire your pieces at your own time. Please bring a small hand towel and and apron if you want to keep yourself relatively tidy. Leave jewellery around hands and wrists at home/bag/car, ideally trimmed fingernails and tie up long hair. Get ready to get messy!! Workshop dates: Friday 4th April, Wednesday 9th April, Friday 11th April and Monday 14th April.
